Each Gashapon capsule contains a miniature figure of an animal in the form of a temple statue.

Wabi-sabi is a perspective centered on the acceptance of imperfection and transience. It is reflected in the Zen gardens, bonsai, traditional Japanese bamboo gardens, pottery, etc.
In the Wabi-Sabi gachapon series, these elements are almost always represented through small figures that are stonework icons that one would find in a temple or shrine.  These are meant to adorn bonsai or a desktop rock garden or to generally bring the aesthetic of traditional Japanese elegance into everyday life in small ways.
